DESIGN
Designed by G.A Group, the interiors of The Royal Mansion centre on the notion of water and air, reflecting the elements’ theme that can be found throughout the resort. Upon arrival guests enter the suite via a grand lobby, featuring triple height ceilings at 7m high, before descending through the entrance corridor flanked by two 100-year-old olive trees, symbolic of the peace and friendship one finds when arriving to the UAE. The space gives way to a bright and airy living space, study area, bar and entertainment room featuring luxurious materials including Calacatta marble, rustling silk draperies, Lalique and Christofle vase and warm wool and leather upholstery. Taking centre stage on the wall within the living space is a deep blue concave dish of polished metal, which provides a subtle nod to the water and air theming of the suite. Custom made crystal and brass Preciosa chandeliers frame the rooms, complemented by delicate handmade Murano glass lamps.
On either side of the living space, 7m high bi-folding doors pull back the entire length of the suite to reveal two expansive terraces. The first, featuring soaring views from of The Palm Island and glittering Dubai Skyline, also boasts a luxurious infinity pool. With the cobalt infinity pool contrasting against the aquamarine of the sea and the baby blue of the sky, guests can feel as if they are swimming amongst the clouds. On the adjacent terrace, guests can enjoy soaring views of the Arabian Gulf, whilst entertaining at a 12-seat natural teak dining table or relaxing in the 10-seater Sunken Majlis; both designed to ensure the views take centre stage.
As guests ascend to the second floor, via stairs or an in-suite elevator, two master bedrooms featuring gold onyx marble, leather headboards and dark stained wood overlook the terraces and soaring views, whilst expansive white onyx clad his and hers bathrooms, feature jacuzzi tubs, and a steam room.
