Valcucine opens a new Atelier in Dubai inspired by Architectural Scenarios

Valcucine strengthens its international presence with the opening of a new Atelier in Dubai, created in collaboration with Merise, a key player in the luxury design sector across India and the Middle East.

Located in the prestigious Index Tower, designed by Norman Foster + Partners and now an icon of contemporary Emirati architecture, the new Valcucine space lies at the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a financial and cultural hub that brings together some of the city's most iconic buildings.

A project inspired by Architectural Scenarios

Enclosed by a striking curved glass façade, an advanced technical feature that defines its stylistic identity, the Atelier was conceived in line with the Architectural Scenarios philosophy, through which Valcucine envisions the kitchen as part of a broader dialogue with the architectural space it inhabits. The project stems from the synergy between Valcucine, Merise and 2+ Design, a studio that has enhanced the brand's ability to adapt to diverse contexts while maintaining a perfect balance between local culture and the universal language of design.

The double-height volume, nearly six meters, features a precious bronze-colored metal mesh ceiling and wall covering, adorned with a delicate geometric motif. Like a suspended fabric, the mesh is stretched between black metal profiles, enveloping the space in a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. An integrated technical lighting system enhances the effect with golden reflections filtered through the mesh.

Three settings, three interpretations of Valcucine design

The space features some of the brand's most representative proposals, set in a sequence of environments that highlight design expertise, refined materials and attention to detail.

The first setting is dominated by a spectacular Logica Celata in the Bar version, enhanced by an exclusive Vitrum Arte customization: against a dark red background stands a golden stylized falcon, an homage to local culture that also serves as a decorative narrative element. A panel of Indian green marble leads to the living area, where the Aerius Wall Unit stands out for the elegance of Vitrum Velato and its subtle translucent effect.

Next comes the Genius Loci composition, paired with the Air Logica Special Element and framed by a Vitrum Tessile wall panel, which runs vertically through the space with sculptural impact. The central island, both convivial and functional, is distinguished by its refined balance of glass, metal and natural stone.

The exhibition concludes with Artematica, presented in a sophisticated dialogue of glass, metal, and wood, completed by the New Logica Special Element and the Insula counter, an elegant harmony of functionality and style.
