The project was designed as a futuristic HQ for LYX arkitekter. The building is a bold statement in the middle of nature. Its organic seamless shape has been sculptured and tuned carefully with the parametric pattern which in his turn is filling the gaps between the vanishing ornaments and form the building identity.

OCT Chaohu Natural and Cultural Centre is located at the foot of the mountain between the natural mountains and the city, which stretches for tens of kilometres from northeast to southwest on the north side of Chaohu city. This project could be regarded as a critical point of the local natural environment and urban domestic life. The purpose of architectural building is to demonstrate the indigenous cultural heritage on the one hand, and seem to stand on the fence for the future domestic entertainment life in city on the other hand.

Defined by the surrounding urban fabric of the district’s avenues and parks, Zugló City Centre weaves new public squares and gardens through the heart of the design to connect with the re-established natural ecosystem at Rákos Creek; creating a network of interconnected gardens and plazas lined with restaurants and cafes, shops, apartments and offices as well as a new medical clinic and town hall.

The villa was planned for a young family who lived in an outdated house on an elongated plot in Kfar Shmaryahu. As the family was expanding, it needed a new residence to meet their needs and wanted to maximize the advantages of the 1250-sqm-plot.

The new home increases in size and maintains scale by going vertical to seamlessly blend in with neighboring historic and eclectic homes. Montalba Architects completed construction on Founding Principal David Montalba’s personal residence thoughtfully designed around a vertical courtyard concept.
