When we first met with this project and our client told us what it is about, we already knew this is going to be a challenge. Our goal was to show a building - the mountain hotel, in contrast with its rough surroundings, because it is not always sunny weather in the mountains, is it?

Fog, snow and blizzard, you know this very well if you are a mountain hiker. For us in studio ARCHEVIO it is very important to show the reality and true future face of the object that we help to present. Not only the images with this wild kind of scene look mysterious and impressive, shiny images full of sun are so common that it would be shame to use it for building standing in the middle of the forest, high in the mountains.

In Archevio we are very animation oriented, so usually all of our scenes are fully 3D and ready for any kind of motion. If you have everything in 3D, it makes things much easier. Does the client want to move the camera a bit? Ok, not a problem. Or make a flythrough in the forest with leaves flickering in the wind? We can handle this too in a relatively short time.

In presentation we used format of „live images“. It means, that some of the elements will move. It can be used for interior and exterior. It brings a high emotional charge and attracts attention. The format is mp4 in a small size with the possibility of embedding on the web (even in a closed loop).

The mountain hotel images and animations show the idea of presenting a single building in different weather conditions and different moods. In the end, every single image of the building can evoke different emotions.
