Khatereh Bakhtyari: In the heart of the Tabernas Desert, Spain, where golden sands meet endless skies, stands a single villa that redefines desert living. Its completely curved body flows like a dune sculpted by the wind, while rectangular entrance steps lead you inside—an intentional contrast of geometry and softness.

Elevated gracefully on stilts, the villa floats above the ground, creating an open living area underneath where the desert breeze becomes part of daily life. At night, a gentle orange light glows from within, casting warmth across the completely white body, a striking silhouette against the starry desert sky.

The glass roof invites the sun by day and the constellations by night, while the solar energy grid ensures the home is as sustainable as it is stunning. This is architecture that breathes with its environment—reflecting the desert’s purity, embracing its harsh beauty, and softening it with human comfort.

Here, mornings begin with the blush of sunrise flooding the curved walls, and evenings end with the horizon painted in fire. It’s not just a villa—it’s an architectural poem about light, form, and place.

From its futuristic elegance to its ecological intelligence, this home is a testament to how modern design can honor nature without surrendering luxury.
