Designing interiors means taking everything inside of oneself, understanding it, transforming it, purifying it, and, in turn, creating and conceiving something from it. The objects, atmosphere, materials, even the light—everything must exist within oneself, in one's private inner world before it can be seen by others and materialize in the spaces and environments that complement and inspire us and that we share with loved ones or reserve for ourselves. This is one of the most enduring ideas in Kenya Rodríguez's vision. For her, designing is a process invariably nourished by the act of living—a process that matures and purifies our inner lives and turns them into something tangible and powerful.
Casa Molusco Pantera
This house is located at Zapopan, Jalisco in Mexico. With an amazing collaboration of Kenya Rodríguez interior design studio and the architect Javier Dueñas from JDE Estudio. The inspiration for this project was the architecture from the region " arquitectura tapatía" as well as Japanese architecture. Kenya´s dream came true by blending the architecture from small towns in Jalisco and Kyoto.
